25th Anniversary of the AAUW Garden Tour

May 6, 2017 is the 25th Anniversary of the AAUW Garden Tour. Regional artists will be featured in each of the gardens. This is a self-guided tour of home gardens, and the gardens can be viewed in any order of preference. In addition to private home gardens and two public gardens, the tour will feature Yuba-Sutter Master Gardeners who can help you with your gardening questions. Tickets are $15 when purchased prior to May 6, available beginning mid March at Union Lumber (Marysville), Sperbeck's Nursery, Yuba City Florist, and Community Memorial Museum of Sutter County (Yuba City). Tickets are $20 the day of the Garden Tour.

Brochure Central - 9:30 am to 12:30 pm - Pick up your Garden Tour map and brochure at Wilbur Avenue and C Street in Yuba City the day of the tour. Additional tickets can be purchased the day of the tour at Brochure Central for $20 per person. NO credit cards. Cash and checks only. Maps and extra tickets can be picked up at the Garden Tour reception at the museum in the afternoon. .

Reception - Noon to 4 pm. The Garden Tour reception is in the courtyard at Community Memorial Museum, 1333 Butte House Road in Yuba City, Garden Tour Wristbands will admit you to the gardens and the reception.

Artists in the Gardens – Currently we have 10 local artists volunteering for the Garden Tour. Artists include a variety of media such as watercolor, acrylic, ceramic, jewelry, glass and photography. They are: Cindy Gaven, Sue Graue, Jan Frink, Janet Staser, Lynn Rose Light, Walt Zukas, Leslie Greenetz, Luisa Leger, Terri Foley, and Tamra Spoto. Contact Lee Jones, 530-674-1942, /c 530-300-0214.
