Brad Dacus to speak at Tea Party

Yuba City, Ca.tea party 2 1 17

The Sutter Buttes Tea Party Patriots announced Brad Dacus, Founder and President of the Pacific Justice Institute will be the Special Guest Speaker for their Monday, February 6, 2017 meeting.

Brad Dacus served as Legislative Assistant to U.S. Senator Phil Gramm, and went on to receive his Juris Doctorate from the University of Texas, School of Law. For the next five years, Mr. Dacus coordinated religious freedom and parental rights cases throughout the Western states. In 1997, he founded the Pacific Justice Institute, where he serves as President and continues to defend religious liberties and parental rights. The Pacific Justice Institute has a network of hundreds of volunteer affiliate attorneys across the U.S. and handles more cases on the West Coast than any other organization of its kind.

Mr. Dacus will discuss many of the insane laws coming out of Sacramento. The Pacific Justice Institute handles cases addressing religious freedom including church and private school rights issues, curtailments to evangelism by the government, harassment because of their religious faith, employers attacked for their religious-based policies, students and teachers rights to share their faith at public schools. They also work hard to defend the rights of parents including their right to homeschool, review and have notice of public school curriculum and presentations, and opt out their children from objectionable material.

Don’t forget – Our regular feature In The News with Paul Preston will follow our Special Guest Speaker. Paul will discuss issues of the day.

The meeting will be at the Church of Glad Tidings, 1179 Eager Road, Yuba City. Everyone is welcome to attend. There is no membership requirement and no charge. Doors open at 6:00 pm; come early to socialize with like-minded neighbors, enjoy the refreshments, and get a front-row seat.
