SUTTER COUNTY SHERIFF PARKER & YUBA COUNTY SHERIFF DURFOR
Yuba City, Ca.
The Sutter Buttes Tea Party Patriots announced Sutter County Sheriff J. Paul Parker and Yuba County Sheriff Steve Durfor will be Guest Speakers for their Monday, August 7, 2017, Town Hall Meeting.
This will be a good old-fashioned Town Hall Meeting with our local sheriffs. A few of the topics of concern to local citizens are:
· Butte, Sutter, and Yuba Counties have re-evaluated the Oroville Dam crisis evacuation plans as a result of the evacuations earlier this year. The latest findings and updates will be discussed.
· The California legislature is on a crusade to destroy the Second Amendment. Governor Brown has recently signed several unconstitutional anti-gun and ammo bills that create a new class of criminal from law-abiding citizens. What is the impact on the average law-abiding citizen?
· The river bottoms have been overrun with the homeless who are destroying the riverbanks and the habitat. What are the plans to correct the situation?
"Issues of the day" are also encouraged from the audience. Matters that concern you that can be addressed by Sheriff Parker and/or Sheriff Durfor are encouraged. Come hear your top elected law enforcement officers in Sutter County and Yuba County who have taken an oath to defend the U.S. Constitution and the citizens against tyranny.
Don’t forget – Our regular feature In The News may follow our Special Guest Speakers, if time allows. The issues of the day may be discussed.
The Town Hall Meeting will be at the Church of Glad Tidings, 1179 Eager Road, Yuba City. Everyone is welcome to attend. There is no membership requirement and no charge. Doors open at 6:00 pm; come early to socialize with like-minded neighbors, enjoy the refreshments, and get a front-row seat.
