"New State Movement" Meeting SCCCR

Yuba City, statePaul Preston

Paul Preston, Chairman of the Sutter County Council of County Representatives (SCCCR) of the “New State Movement,” will be holding the second meeting of concerned citizens interested in being involved in a movement to develop a pathway forward to form a new state.

The SCCCR is designed to provide citizens an avenue to openly discuss, brainstorm, and get questions answered including perspectives from a greater number of people regarding a constitutional state split from California.

They are looking for committed leaders who want to become members of the Sutter County Council of County Representatives and want to be part of the historic formation of a New State.

Members of the current SCCCR will be present to provide information on the New State movement and answer your questions.

The meeting will be Wednesday, August 16, 2017, at the Caltrans Building, Sierra Nevada Conference Room, 703 B Street, Marysville, CA 95901.

There is no membership requirement to attend and everyone is welcome. Doors open at 6:00 pm; meeting begins at 6:30 PM.

“The participation of informed citizens is required for good governance.”
