The new Feather River Tea Party Patriots announced Roger Morgan, Chairman/Founder of the Take Back America Campaign, will be the Special Guest Speaker for their next meeting, Monday, February 5, 2018.
Over the past 9 years, under the guise of medicine, California has allowed over 50,000 illegal marijuana cultivation sites on public and private land. The environmental impact and ecological damage has been horrific. Poisons, pesticides and fertilizers used to grow pot are killing wildlife, poisoning fish and contaminating the earth and our watersheds that serve millions of people. The abdication of state or federal enforcement has placed the entire burden of public safety and environmental protection on local governments and law enforcement, without the resources. They are overwhelmed. Two counties so far have declared states of emergency, with more to follow. Environmental reclamation, if even possible, is estimated to cost up to $1,000,000 per site. That equates to $50 billion statewide, all to grow an illicit plant that is destroying the brains and lives of our youth. California now produces 8 times more pot than is consumed locally, supplying 60 of 80% of the entire US black market for recreational pot, more than all Mexican cartels combined. A day of reckoning could be coming with AG Jeff Sessions at the helm. Roger will discuss the implications for cities, counties and the state, and why California should pause in the implementation of the entire program to legalize pot for recreational use.
Don’t forget – Our regular feature In The News with Paul Preston, Agenda 21 Radio, will follow our Special Guest Speaker. Paul will be discussing events of the day.
