Sutter Memorial Museum, 1333 Butte House Road, Yuba City, CA Ph: 530-822-7141, Hours: Saturday 12:00PM-4:00PM

The Museum acts as a place for the people of the Sutter County community to come experience and participate in the richness of its past through exhibition, research, school programs, adult and children's programs as well as other activities. Admission to the Museum is free.


Mary Aaron Memorial Museum, 704 D Street, Marysville, CA Ph: 530-740-1004, Hours: Saturday 1:00PM-4:00PM

This is a brick Gothic Revival structure built as a family home in 1855 by Warren P. Miller. Sold to the Aaron Family in 1870, it was donated to the city of Marysville in 1955 to serve as the Mary Aaron Memorial Museum. In 1998 it was added to the National Register of Historic Places as the Warren P. Miller house.


Chinese Museum of Northern California, 232 1st Street, Marysville, CA

The Chinese American Museum of Northern California was founded in 2005 in the historic Marysville Chinatown. It is located at the intersection of 1st and C Streets, where the Chinese have fired the bombs for Bomb Day (Bok kai Festival) for over 150 years. The building where the museum is housed is an original gold rush building built in 1858.

Hours: 10am - 2pm. On the first and third Saturday of each month.

Museum of the Forgotten Warriors, 5865 A Rd, Marysville, CA Ph: 530-742-3090, Hours: Saturday 10:00AM-3:00PM

This incredible museum is located way out in the boonies, just off North Beale Road near the northern perimeters of Beale Air Force Base.

Nevertheless, this countryside museum could proudly hold its own alongside the Smithsonian Museums that line the mall of our nation’s capital.
